Our Florida Promise

Challenge:  Faced with massive cuts that would affect the quality of care for nursing homes, a group of concerned citizens---including skilled nursing care providers, nurses, doctors, administrators, parents and families---formed Our Florida Promise to appeal to lawmakers.  But the new organization needed a grassroots campaign to educate, recruit and mobilize citizens to communicate with Florida lawmakers and ensure adequate funding.

Solution:  Cornerstone Solutions developed a tailored, comprehensive grassroots campaign.  Our firm helped coordinate an extensive letter writing campaign, as well as an interactive Web site with a legislative action center, and an extensive e-campaign to educate lawmakers during the legislative session.  Our specific services included:
